So to follow up on one of my earlier videos, I went to Hammam spa in King West and thought it was fabulous. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect because I had never been to a spa before. I walked in and was kindly greeted with a smile. To start it off, at the check in they gave me a warm towel to freshen up. This is before walking into the actual spa. Once I filled out my health form, they lead me into the men’s change room. Key around wrist, I opened my locker and was pleasantly surprised to see a towel (that made me feel like I was in the middle east) and a robe. All suited up, I headed for the steam room. Wow!! Best steam room ever! Couldn’t see a thing, but man was it nice. Spent about 20 mins steaming and then decided to wait in the lounge sipping some cucumber water (exquisite) till my massage. I decided to get a full body massage because I don’t tend to be a very stiff person. An hour later I emerge feeling amazing. And back to the steam room I go for another 20 mins. Great way to spend a sunday afternooon.
